Big News: 7 Vikings Players Headed to the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games!

Minnesota Vikings Shine Bright with 7 Players Named to 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games

EAGAN, Minn. – The Minnesota Vikings are making a strong statement on the national stage, with a remarkable seven players selected to the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games roster. This impressive grouping marks the team’s biggest Pro Bowl representation since 2009.

Quarterback Sam Darnold, wide receiver Justin Jefferson, cornerback Byron Murphy Jr., outside linebackers Jonathan Greenard and Andrew Van Ginkel, long snapper Andrew DePaola, and tackle Brian O’Neill will all be representing the Vikings in the annual all-star event.

Darnold, Greenard, Van Ginkel, and Murphy are making their first-ever Pro Bowl appearances, while Jefferson earns his fourth selection and DePaola his third consecutive nod. O’Neill, initially named an alternate, has been added to the roster to replace Philadelphia’s Lane Johnson, who is unable to participate due to the Super Bowl.

“This is a tremendous honor for our players and a testament to the hard work they’ve put in all season long,” said Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell. “To have seven Vikings named to the Pro Bowl is a remarkable achievement and a reflection of the talented roster we’ve assembled. I’m incredibly proud of these players and look forward to watching them represent our organization on the national stage.”

Darnold, in his first season with the Vikings, has been sensational, setting career highs in passing yards (4,153), touchdowns (35), and passer rating (106.4). Jefferson continues to cement his status as one of the league’s elite wide receivers, racking up 1,479 yards and 10 touchdowns. The defensive duo of Greenard and Van Ginkel have been a dominant force, combining for 22.5 sacks.

The Vikings’ Pro Bowl selections showcase the team’s depth and talent across multiple positions, and their strong performance this season has positioned them as a force to be reckoned with in the NFC.
